This Cookie Policy explains how Big Moments Company uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your information more broadly.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. They can help a site keep you signed in between visits and understand how its pages are used.

The cookies we use

Staying signed in (essential): if you're a member, we use one essential cookie to keep you logged in to your dashboard. Sign-in won't work without it.
Analytics and performance (optional): we use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to see how our pages perform and make them better, which means which pages are visited, which links and buttons get clicked, general region, and device type. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this. We use it for measurement only: we don't send it your name or email, and Google's ads-personalization and cross-site advertising features are switched off.
Ad measurement (optional): when we're running ads, Google Ads sets a cookie so we can tell that a visit which started with one of our ads ended in a purchase or a signup. It counts the sale and nothing else: no name, no email, no advertising profile, and no following you to other sites. It's covered by the same choice as analytics, so saying no keeps it off too.
Payments and security: on secure checkout pages, our payment processor may set its own cookies to process your payment and help prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy.
Login security (essential): when you request a sign-in email, Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and network signals to help stop bots. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies or similar technologies in doing so. This is separate from optional analytics and ad measurement, and is described in our Privacy Policy and Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

What we don't do

We don't use cookies to build advertising profiles, follow you around the web, or sell your information. Effort is romantic; surveillance isn't.

If you're in the EU, the EEA, or the UK

We ask first. Analytics and ad-measurement cookies don't load at all for visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom unless you agree to them: when you arrive, a bar at the bottom of the page asks, and nothing is loaded until you answer. Choosing "No thanks" means none of those cookies are set and none of those scripts are loaded. The site works exactly the same, and we simply don't count the visit.

To make that choice we need to know roughly where you are, so our server records only a coarse "EU or not" marker for your browser. It doesn't store your country, your IP address, or anything that identifies you.

Changed your mind? Clearing cookies for this site through your browser settings resets the question, and we'll ask again on your next visit. We'll also ask again roughly every six months.

Your choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Some parts of the site, including member sign-in, may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

Anywhere in the world, you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
