About the nerves

Almost everyone we work with is nervous. That's a good sign. It means the question matters. Everything else, the timing, the location, the photographer's cue, the what-if-it-rains plan, has already been decided. If you want a human to pressure-test the whole thing with you first, the Prep Session adds a private 40-minute call where we walk through your plan, your script, and your backups together until you could do it in your sleep.

On the day, the only thing you have to do is be present and say three true things.

What you keep afterwards starts before the question

Every other keepsake we make starts the morning after. A proposal runs the other way round, because half of what you will want in ten years only exists in the days before you ask: how you sound when you still don't know the answer, and what everyone who is in on it has been sitting on for weeks. So your account starts collecting the day you buy the plan.

Bringing your people in is optional, and it is the part most couples underrate. Send one link to everyone, or give each person a link of their own, labelled however you think of them: Dad, the friend who introduced you, the roommate who knew before anyone. Their name arrives already filled in, you can see who has recorded and who has not, and there are eight questions they can pick from if they want one, because a camera with no question tends to produce twenty seconds of congratulations and little else. The page they land on is unlisted and carries no preview, since it says out loud that someone is about to be proposed to.

All of this comes with the plan, and none of it has to stay behind in a planning account. The day you start a membership it binds into one keepsake called “The proposal”, and the photos join your library.
