Is the Cup Game free?
Yes. There is no account, no app to install, and no email to hand over. Open the page, type two names, pick how many rounds, and play. Names and prompts stay on your phone and disappear when you close the tab.
How long does a game take?
Six rounds is about ten minutes. Ten rounds fills the wait for a delivery. Fifteen is a whole evening in, with a couple of the tiny dares thrown in.
Can I send my partner just one question?
Yes. After you draw a prompt, tap 'Send this round to your partner'. They get a link that opens on that exact prompt, already revealed, so they can answer it before the rest of the game. There is also a vertical card for each prompt if you would rather post it to Stories.
Does it work long distance?
It does. Open it on a video call and take turns drawing, or send single rounds back and forth through the day. The 'both of you' prompts work over a call; the tiny dares are funnier on camera.
What kind of prompts are in the cup?
There are 40 of them across four types: quick picks (choose one, defend it), tiny dares (twenty seconds of nonsense), hot takes (a question about the two of you), and wildcards (plan a $0 date in 30 seconds). Nothing in the cup is meant to start an argument.
How is this different from the Date Night Draw?
The Cup Game is for right now: draw a prompt, do what it says, laugh. The Date Night Draw is for deciding what to do: you both toss date ideas into five cups, draw one from each, and that is tonight's date, emailed to your person as an invitation.
