It works just as well from two cities. The game runs in a browser on both ends, so get on a video call, share your screen, and take turns drawing from the cup. The “both of you” prompts are written to be answered out loud, and the tiny dares are better on camera anyway.
Different time zones are the harder case. Every prompt has its own link, so send one round before bed, they open it already drawn and answer it at breakfast, and you pick the game back up when you are both awake. Questions people ask
Is the Cup Game free?
Yes. There is no account, no app to install, and no email to hand over. Open the page, type two names, pick how many rounds, and play. Names and prompts stay on your phone and disappear when you close the tab.
How long does a game take?
Six rounds is about ten minutes. Ten rounds fills the wait for a delivery. Fifteen is a whole evening in, with a couple of the tiny dares thrown in.
Can I send my partner just one question?
Yes. After you draw a prompt, tap 'Send this round to your partner'. They get a link that opens on that exact prompt, already revealed, so they can answer it before the rest of the game. There is also a vertical card for each prompt if you would rather post it to Stories.
